For safety and convenience, traditional cable-connected crane remote control are increasingly being replaced by wireless systems, such as those using radio signals or infrared technology. Wireless crane control allows operators to control the crane from a safe distance, ensuring better visibility and minimizing risks during operation.

This is particularly critical when transporting hazardous materials, such as flammable liquids, hot forged components, or loads held by magnets, vacuums, or grabs. Wireless control eliminates the need for the operator to follow the crane closely, allowing higher crane speeds of up to 80 m/min, compared to the 63 m/min limit of cable-connected systems.
