Three-phase frequency inverters convert single-phase or three-phase AC voltage into a three-phase output with an adjustable frequency, ranging from 0 Hz to as high as 400 Hz, depending on the model. These inverters are designed to control three-phase asynchronous motors.
When the output frequency is low, the motor rotates slowly; at 0 Hz, it stops. As the frequency increases, the motor speed rises accordingly. Frequency adjustments can be made using a low-power potentiometer or other controls. Additionally, the rotation direction of the motor can be reversed.
Frequency inverters provide the most advanced method for controlling AC motors, ensuring precise speed regulation and process control.
